Due to the growth in our portfolio, we are strengthening our Operations Team in UK and are therefore looking for a

IT Project Manager ERP Workday (m/f/d)

In your role as IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the introduction of the new ERP system Workday in the finance and HR areas of the holding company and coordinate both the technical requirements and the service provider. At the end of the project, you will coordinate the technical development of the system. In addition, as part of the Aurelius IT practice, you will support value creation in the portfolio companies through effective and practical project and change management. The AURELIUS IT Task Force is a well-coordinated team of consultants with in-depth specialist knowledge and many years of management experience.


Aufgaben
  • First point of contact for the introduction of the new ERP system Workday in the AURELIUS Group
  • Determination and documentation of the business requirements of the HR and finance department as well as coordination of implementation measures with the external IT service provider
  • Supporting the specialist areas in coordinating and finding solutions to emerging challenges during the transition phase
  • Coordination of IT programs, e.g. ERP modernizations, as a member of the project management offices
  • Management of project status, key tasks and risks to ensure program success
  • Build business cases for ERP modernization projects
  • Coaching of specialist and IT stakeholders of the associated companies on IT terms, processes, project procedures, roles, and results
  • Analysing poorly defined problems, moderating the process for finding solutions and proposing alternative solutions
  • Manage project status, key tasks and risks to ensure program success

Profil
  • Successfully completed studies in computer science / information technology, natural sciences, engineering or business administration, or a comparable suitable education
  • At least 5-7 years of professional experience in IT consulting and management of IT projects
  • Familiar with Workday's HR and finance IT/ERP solution
  • Proficiency in modern IT project management tools, such as Jira
  • Additional experience in IT project management in the areas of IT transformation as well as development of IT strategies, IT landscapes or applications is an advantage
  • Consulting-oriented way of working and high flexibility
  • Excellent communication skills combined with strong analytical skills
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, assertiveness as well as professional and economic acumen
  • Willingness to travel within Europe
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
