Eaton's Electrical Division is looking for a

Head of Sales OEM Germany (m/f/d)

The role has the flexibility for remote work.

  • Responsible for leading all sales activities in the direct OEM sales channel to achieve performance goals in accordance with marketing and sales plans.
  • Define and execute sales strategy and go to market for the direct OEM channel aligned with German overall targets, central functions and business unit's strategies.
  • Lead the sales team in the direct OEM channel to meet or exceed the defined targets
  • Close cooperation and strategic alignment with the Electro Wholesale and Panel Builder Partners channel to drive growth at the joint customer base
  • Build close relationships with key customers, partners and distributors from middle management to executive level in order to enhance sales volume, customer service and Eaton´s profile
  • Build, nurture and develop a project and sales funnel with his team
  • Understand the whole value / stakeholder chain of the direct OEM channel and our chosen applications / segments in order to expand our SoW and provide valuable feedback / inside to Business Units and marketing as well as expand Eaton´s relevance in our chosen markets
  • Negotiate important contracts and projects
  • Develop a highly efficient, motivated and engaged team
  • Recruit, hire, train, develop and continuously improve organizational capabilities of assigned personnel.
  • Responsible for planning and managing the sales resources to assure that adequate coverage is applied to accounts.
  • Understand major competitors' tactics, organization, go to market strategy, and pricing while keeping management informed of trends and changes. Understand the products and their competitive position in Germany.
  • Assure that strategic and country operation plans, major product launches, and key programs are properly planned, executed and managed.

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering or Energy Management or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven experience in developing and leading highly engaged teams as well as in defining and executing successful sales and go to market strategies
  • Extensive experience in project and direct sales
  • Extended product and market knowledge
  • Established customer relationships within the market area
  • Proven track record in value added selling
